Earth's Place in Space: Eratosthenes' epiphany
Eratosthenes (Erra-tos-the-neez) was a Greek mathematician and astronomer who lived around 200BC. What does that have to do with the Earth you ask??? Basically, he conducted an important experiment to test his Claim that the Earth is round. What do you think?
